This Privacy Policy explains how Nudge Me ("the app", "we") handles your information. We built Nudge Me to be privacy-respecting: your reminders stay on your device, and the limited data we do collect is anonymous.
The short version
Your nudges and routines never leave your device. Titles, notes, and deadlines are stored only on your iPhone and are never transmitted to us or anyone else.
We collect anonymous usage and diagnostic data to understand how the app is used and to fix bugs.
We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or any data that identifies you, and we do not track you across other apps or websites or show ads. No "Ask App Not to Track" prompt is needed.
Information stored on your device
Tasks, routines, and their details (titles, optional notes, deadlines, reminder settings, completion status) are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. This data is not sent to us. Deleting the app removes it.
Notifications are scheduled locally on your device. We do not operate a server that sends you push notifications, and notification content is not sent to us.
Information we collect
Usage analytics (anonymous)
We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous, aggregated analytics about how the app is used — for example, that a nudge was created or a screen was viewed. These signals contain only counts, types, and categories (such as a chosen reminder interval). They never include your task titles, notes, or deadlines, and they are not linked to your identity. TelemetryDeck is designed to be privacy-first and does not use advertising identifiers. See TelemetryDeck's privacy information: telemetrydeck.com/privacy.
Diagnostics (anonymous)
We use Apple's MetricKit to receive anonymous, aggregated crash and performance reports (such as launch time and hang rate) from devices. This helps us find and fix problems. These reports are provided by Apple in aggregated form and do not identify you.
Purchases
Subscriptions ("Full Nudge") are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment details. We only receive your subscription status (active or not) from Apple to unlock paid features.

How this maps to the App Store privacy label
Consistent with the app's privacy nutrition label, the data types collected are: Product Interaction, Crash Data, and Performance Data — all not linked to your identity and not used to track you.
Data sharing
We do not sell your data. The only third parties involved are:
TelemetryDeck — processes the anonymous analytics signals described above.
Apple — provides the App Store, in-app purchases, and MetricKit diagnostics.
Data retention and your choices
On-device data exists only on your device and is removed when you delete the app.
Anonymous analytics/diagnostics cannot be tied back to you and are retained in aggregate by the services above.
You can disable notifications or Background App Refresh at any time in iOS Settings → Nudge Me, and manage or cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions.
Children
Nudge Me is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
